ABOUT

I am a licensed psychologist specializing in trauma treatment with over 15 years of experience that includes working with couples, families, and Veterans. My work is grounded in effective therapies and guided by the belief that healing unfolds best in a space that feels genuine and deeply respectful. The Ohio milkweed of my brand icon was chosen as a symbol of protection and safe spaces.

I specialize in supporting individuals navigating stressful life transitions, loss, and women’s issues, particularly those who are used to holding it all together for others. Many of the people I work with are busy, highly-capable parents, professionals, or caregivers who juggle a lot, but need a space that truly centers them.

I founded this practice in part to improve access to high-quality, evidence-based PTSD treatments, especially emerging and innovative options, so that recovery can feel both accessible and attainable.

In addition to a career dedicated to therapy best practices, I’ve enjoyed contributing to research and writing (most recently Positive Body Image Workbook: A Clinical and Self-Improvement Guide; earlier publications under my former name, Casey Augustus-Horvath.) and supervising students training to become psychologists. These roles reflect my ongoing commitment to comprehensive, values-based, and collaborative care.

For my own self-care, I enjoy baking, spending time outdoors, and hot yoga.
